Manny Maceda, a graduate of Illinois Tech with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, has spent over three decades at Bain & Company, where he currently serves as chairman. Under his leadership, Bain has become a global powerhouse in business consulting. Maceda has redefined the approach to strategic consulting by incorporating a strong emphasis on culture, innovation, and human-centered leadership, demonstrating that businesses can thrive while maintaining integrity and a commitment to their employees.

After his undergraduate degree, Maceda continued his education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), earning an M.S. in Management from the prestigious Sloan School. He joined Bain in 1989 and has since excelled in various high-profile roles, including chairman for the Asia-Pacific region and global leader of the Transformation and Performance Improvement practices. His advisory work is credited with helping numerous global CEOs navigate complex organizational challenges and implement enterprise-wide transformations.
Maceda’s rise to worldwide managing partner and CEO of Bain in 2018 marked a pivotal point for both the firm and his career.
