12 Vendor Partners with ASB Contribute to Heart of American Program

In another inspiring community initiative, American Solutions for Business (ASB) in Glenwood has recently announced that 12 vendor partners have significantly contributed to the Heart of American Program. Launched in early 2025, this initiative aims to give a second life to excess inventory by redistributing products to families and nonprofits in need.

Driven by a commitment to community support, ASB maintains a robust partnership with Heart Response Ministry (HEART), connecting vendor surplus with local organizations. Over $2.4 million in product value has already been donated—including apparel, personal care products, and office supplies—demonstrating the program’s immense potential to effect change.

Contributions from vendors like Storm Creek, Dubow, 3M, Essendant, and several others have been instrumental in the program’s success. Charitable organizations, like Greater Things MN, which collaborates with HEART, have received thousands of essential items aiding individuals and families facing challenging situations, including veterans and youth programs.

For instance, Greater Things MN recently shared a heartfelt story about a mother who escaped an unsafe environment. She expressed her gratitude after receiving clothing, bedding, and other vital items through this program. Her sentiment—“You have no idea what a blessing this is”—exemplifies the transformative influence of the Heart of American Program, illustrating how these donations translate into meaningful support.

"We are proud to partner with various charities supporting our local communities," says Larry Zavadil of ASB. "Our mission for nearly 45 years has been to give back and foster connections.” The Heart of American Program epitomizes this mission by evidence that even small acts of generosity can create a lasting impact.

ASB has also ensured that participation is as seamless as possible, providing assistance with freight for all vendor contributions. The most significant donation to date has come from ASB’s contract decorator Dubow, which contributed approximately 65 pallets of products.

The call for further partnerships is not over. ASB encourages additional vendors to join this meaningful mission, turning surplus into support and products into purposeful contributions.
